Company

The Heidelberg Digital Unit –HDU– was founded as corporate start-up of the Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG in 2018. It combines the digital marketing and eCommerce activities of this global enterprise and is working on establishing print media industry’s leading digital ecosystem. 
The integrated DigiLab develops new business models and run an own data science team. It was awarded 2019 as one of Germany’s best DigiLabs by CAPITAL.With the Heidelberg Digital Unit –HDU– Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) is realigning its e-commerce and digital marketing activities and is on course to achieve its goal of establishing the print media industry’s leading digital ecosystem.

Challenge

We need you to develop a data-driven service contract offering based on Heidelberg’s IIoT data. You will design a smart contract depending on machine utilization. In addition, you consider the customer experience during the subscription phase and visualize the performance of the contract to steer customer’s behaviour.

Pepperl+Fuchs, a pioneer in sensor technology and explosion protection for industrial automation, offers a comprehensive portfolio that serves conventional and future-oriented applications. The company is advancing technologies for Industry 4.0 production systems and expands its selection of components for the digital transformation.

Challenge

To increase transparency and efficiency in intralogistics we are looking for an IoT-driven solution to autonomously monitor a certain warehouse area. Additionally to the technical challenge we want to raise awareness that innovative advancements in industry usually have huge potential to do social or environmental good - when used in a different context. Hence we want the teams to build a business concept around the innovation that address the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Be part of our challenge and work with data that matters to help feed the world’s growing population. 

Bring „Bausparen“ into the 21st-century

Company

Schwäbisch Hall is the largest German institution to offer contractual savings for housing. With 7.2 Mio. people it has the largest Bauspar-customer base. As a provider of financial services for the private housing industry it is firmly anchored in the cooperative banking sector with its approximately 900 cooperative banks in Germany. Together with Schwäbisch Hall´s own sales force of approximately 3.300 representatives, qualified advice and customer care is guaranteed.

Challenge

Create a closing option (path to purchase), focused on the digital conclusion of the “Bauspar contract”. Making it easy while bringing joy to the process. Figure out what works best with the target group – either the experience of the customer´s journey or their monetary benefits.

INTER is an independent insurance group that offers a comprehensive range of products for residential and commercial customers. Special offers are aimed at clients from the healing and craft industries. INTER employs over 1,600 people, of which about 1,000 are located at the headquarters in Mannheim. 

Challenge

Our strategic goal is to identify consumers at risk - and in need of insurance.

 

Your task is to innovate how we identify new potential customers. Use all data at your disposal: Datasets provided by us, public information such as Google Maps, meteorological data and anything else you can think of. There are no limits set to your creativity - surprise us with your hack!
